Great value for money

Great value for money! The breakfast was buffet style and was very yummy, staff friendly, you get a photo taken by them free of charged included in the price as well as private (small group) tour around the park before it opens. If you’re in Sydney I recommend doing this.

I really enjoyed this

I really enjoyed this! It was cool to get a personal tour around the zoo with one of the zoo keepers, the girl we had was really nice and knew pretty much all there is to know about the animals - very impressive. We got to pat a kangaroo and see all of the animals waking up and getting ready for the day. The tour group was quite small so it was nice and personalised. The actual breakfast with the koalas wasn't as predominant as I thought it would be, we ate a hot breakfast buffet (which was yum) and then after we had our photo taken next to the koala. The photo was free which is a plus because zoos usually charge through the nose. Ideally it would have been cool to hold or pat the koalas but you can't do that any where but QLD. Overall it was a really enjoyable day.

I did this on a Sunday morning and it was good

I did this on a Sunday morning and it was good. Your morning starts with a personalised tour around the Zoo before opening hours. We had about 10 - 12 in our group so it was intimate enough that we could all receive special treatment. The worker who showed us around was very friendly and knowledgeable and made the experience a lot more fun sharing with us lots of information I didn't know before. Once discovering all the animals we stopped at the Kangaroo area where we had the chance to get up close with these animals and have a little play. Following this, we proceeded to breakfast. The food was a buffet breakfast complete with eggs, bacon, baked beans, hash browns and more. There was plenty to ensure no one walks away hungry however don't expect anything special. Following your breakfast, everyone has the chance to have their photo taken with a koala. Unfortunately, in NSW, you can't cuddle these animals, so standing next to it was our only option. I think it would be better for them to really specify this as I was expecting to hold it. After your photo is taken, your tour is over however you have the freedom to go back and explore more of the zoo if you wish (still before it has even opened). Your koala photo is free which is great. Our group had a mixture of families, as well as adults and everyone seemed to enjoy it. It was quite short for the price, however.
