What you can expect

Set sail to Rottnest Island off the Fremantle coast to enjoy the stunning tropical island paradise with snorkelling, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding on the agenda for the day. Rottnest Island is an adventurer’s playground and a luxury sailing eco catamaran is the best way to experience it all in comfort and style. Depart Fremantle and anchor up at one of the many picturesque bays to snorkel or swim in the crystal clear waters. You may even be joined by playful sea lions that have become familiar with the vessel. Get ready for more adventure as the huge cargo nets are dropped at the back of the boat so you can enjoy your very own ocean spa bath. Just when you start feeling peckish, a buffet lunch is served before some relaxing free time in the afternoon to have a snooze in a hammock or take advantage of the kayaks and stand up paddle boards to explore more. The Rottnest Island full day sailing cruise returns to Fremantle at 4pm after a full day of adventure.

  • Travel 15 nautical miles off the Fremantle coast to the unique and stunning island of Rottnest
  • Picturesque bays to enable you to take every opportunity to enjoy the luxury catamaran
  • Swim, kayak, recline in the cargo net or head for the reefs for a snorkel, or just snooze and relax onboard either in the comfortable trampolines up front between the hulls or on the lounged shaded rear deck
  • You are welcome to take part in the sailing, raising, lowering and trimming sails or taking the helm
  • Delicious morning tea and lunch including a variety of meats, salads, cheese, breads, fruit, cakes, pastries, coffee and teas
Time
  • Cruises depart 8am and returns 4pm at the front of Cicerello's, 44 Mews Rd, Fremantle (Cicerello's Landing)
  • Please be at the jetty and ready to board 15 minutes prior to departure time
  • Season: November - March on selected days

Additional Information
  • There is plenty of car parking available at Sardine Jetty. It is a 15 minute walk from the Fremantle Train Station
  • Expectant guests who are 28-36 weeks pregnant will require medical clearance to board. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate anyone over 36 weeks gestation
  • A buffet lunch is served which includes a variety of meats, salads, cakes and other items. Guests are also welcome to BYO food or drinks (no spirits).
  • Please advise us of any serious allergies (i.e. anaphylaxis) that the crew need to be aware of
  • Please advise us of any pre existing injuries or medical conditions. A doctors clearance may be required before boarding.
  • You must arrive AT LEAST 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. Allow extra time for traffic and parking, as we cannot hold the boat up if you are running late.
  • This is a fully water based activity. The vessel does not disembark at the Rottnest Island jetty
  • Tour requires crossing through open water. If you have any concerns about seasickness please speak to a pharmacist well in advance of your day. Some medications need to be taken 24 hours prior.
  • Tour requires minimum numbers to proceed. If this is not reached we will contact you in the days prior to discuss options
Terms And Conditions
  • Kids aged 2-3 are free (please call us on 1300 935 532 if you would like to add a child 2-3yrs to your booking). No infants under the age of 2 are allowed on board due to life jacket requirements
  • Sailing is wind and weather dependent, so the choice of direction and destinations will need to be evaluated nearer to the day. We reserve the right to cancel and reschedule if conditions require it. Guest safety and enjoyment is our number 1 priority
  • Public departures are subject to weather conditions and minimum numbers
  • Charter 1 reserves the right to reschedule tours where minimum numbers are not met or when unsafe weather conditions are forecast, or on the rare occasion of mechanical failure
  • We monitor expected conditions well in advance of each tour and charter. We will always try to give you as much notice as possible if we deem it too risky to proceed however the final decision is at the discretion of the skipper on the day. Unexpected weather changes can and do happen, albeit are rare
  • Please be waiting at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time and note the departure location on your booking communications from us
  • We cannot hold up the vessel and other guests if you are late
Cancellation Policy
  • Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
  • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
  • Rescheduling: Requests for reschedules must be sent via email directly to the operator, contact details will be provided once your experience is confirmed. Please quote your booking reference and requested changes. Please note only one reschedule will be allowed per booking and must be processed before the cut-off: 72 hours before departure, within the same season. Subsequent changes will incur a fee of $25pp
  • Participant Changes: Requests for participant name changes are permitted and must be sent via email directly to the operator at least 24 hours prior to departure. Operator contact details will be provided once your experience is confirmed. Please provide guests full name, mobile number and email address
  • Bookings for 5 or more - 7 days notice required

  • Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
  • Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
